URBAN HOMESTEADING WORKSHOP: Edible Landscaping

My Dad, child of the Depression Era, used to say that if you at least had a little
plot of land, you could always grow potatoes and not starve to death.

I don't know that my gardening skills could ever keep me from starving to death (and I don't want to find out!), but they certainly improve my quality of life...and my family's as well...especially the 'edible' part.

If you have some free time tomorrow morning, consider attending one of the
URBAN HOMESTEADING WORKSHOPS offered by the Myriad Gardens at the Crystal Bridge... tomorrow morning starting at 9:30.  I'll be the final presenter talking EDIBLE LANDSCAPING  and would love to visit and learn from you about current trends and practices in growing our own edibles.

Call to register today (until noon) at 405-445-7080.
                       walk-ups welcome!

Hope to see some of you there!
