Thanks for the Memories

The last of the tulips will be finished by this weekend. Magnificent, they were. Their beauty now transfigured into digital ghosts, captured and put away in my computer, floating out now and again...for me, and sometimes you...to remember.

Unusually cool, sometimes frighteningly cold, weather extended their performance

and our enjoyment.  In fact, and I am going out on a limb here...

in the twenty plus years I have been gardening here

I think this was the most spectacular spring show

 ever.

Thanks to all of you who noticed, commented, appreciated,

drove by with your aging parents, or

walked by with your pooch...

 again and again...

to see what would bloom next, open next

appear next.

Savoring it, I think, almost

as much as I.

  1. Oh, my! When I saw the title of your post I thought maybe you were moving. I about had a 'Fred Sanford' big one! Yes, your place is stunning this year.
