Contagion

I'll just go ahead and ask for your forgiveness right off the bat.  I say this because I have no doubt you will be cursing me, just as I have been cursing my friend, The Dirt Diva (check out her blog here), who, along with some other malcontents, introduced me to the highly addictive, hallucination-inducing, mega-timewaster,
PINTEREST.  Follow my boards here, or sign up here to find out more, if you are not already main-lining the site, because, as my friend Color Girl (whom I hooked a while ago) says, it is the crack cocaine of the internet.  (And you thought Facebook was a black hole.)

PINTEREST is a world of virtual inspirations boards, curated by beauty-loving hounds everywhere, who have put their cyber tear- sheets out for all of us to see, steal, swoon over, envy, and in general, inspire. Categories for inspiration and voyeurism are infinite.  Sign up now to see what I mean and soon, you too, will be spreading the contagion and wasting time right along with me.

Non-productivity, along with misery, loves company.

While you're at it, visit my Wisconsin pal at her blog, Plant Postings, to get more gardening tips on lessons learned in Summer 2011 (try not to hate her for having lovely weather this summer...).

If a trip Down Under seems more enticing, I'd suggest The Bok Flock, a fun and wacky read with a brilliant Australian accent.

After spending time so much time sitting and reading, you will, no doubt, want to stretch your legs and engage in real world Home and Garden touring and idea-gathering. If so, plan to attend

  1. Alright! I didn't know this garden tour was coming up. I'll have to get tickets quickly.

No time to post on my blog since school started. I just have to be happy reading others and spending time on Pinterest. Which is amazing!

  2. Hi Linda: Thanks for the mention! Yeah, I was feeling guilty about our perfect weather until this week with frost warnings. Now we're headed for the downward spiral. So...I'll have more time to hang around on Pinterest!
