They Grow Up So Quickly, Don't They?

It seems like just yesterday.  They were just a twinkle in our eye, and now they are all grown up and about to leave us. We never imagined they could be so wonderful, so fulfilling. So aggravating some times...when the   "should be expected, but are still so unsettling problems of growing up and maturing inevitably blew in. Winds often gusty and turbulent, occasionally destructive. A good bit of work.  A lot of feeding and watering.  But still, my darlings prevailed, and proved to be creatures of great pride and achievement and lasting joy.  I wouldn't have missed them for anything.

So many analogies, so much wisdom out there in the dirt.

Good-bye sweet tulips.  Until we meet again.
Just don't bring home your dirty laundry.
